Version 1.0
(US English Version)

Pack includes:

	3 Hidden/Unused Hat Textures Unlocked
1. Weed Rag
2. Skull Rag
3. Black Watch Cap
	2 New Textures to Add
1. Black Cowboy Hat
2. Black Rag (different from the one at Bincos)

Known Bug:
The three rags (bandanas) have sections that disappear during certain cut scenes. It looks a
little funny, but it's really no big deal.

Installation:

There are two ways to install. I like to be as helpful as possible, so I have included a quick
and dirty install method as well as more complicated install instructions. If you have not yet
modified your "shopping.dat" or "american.gxt" then you can do the quick and dirty install.
The more compicated install is for those who would prefer to modify their own files rather than
replace them.

QUICK AND DIRTY:

1. Start up IMG Editor 2.0 (you can get this from pretty much any GTA site, and the version matters).
2. Open the file player.img (this is in the models folder)
3. Add the files "cowboyblk.txd" and "bandanab2.txd" from this pack to the list (Add is under Commands menu)
4. Rebuild the Archive (this is also in Commands menu)
5. Backup your "shopping.dat" file located in the Data folder
6. Backup your "american.gxt" file located in the Text folder
7. Replace your "shopping.dat" and "american.gxt" files with the ones in this pack
8. Add the file "american.ini" to your Text folder (the same folder as american.gxt)
9. Start up SA and check out your new cover over at ZIP!

MODIFY FILES MANUALLY INSTALL: (BACKUP YOUR FILES FIRST!!!)

1. Proceed with steps 1 thru 4 of the Quick and Dirty Install
2. Open up your "shopping.dat" (in Data Folder) with notepad or some kind of text editor
3. Scroll down through the file past "section CarMods" and most of the way through
   "section Clothes". Move up from the end of Clothes until you reach the entry "gimpleg..."
   Right above that line insert the following lines (use the file in this pack if you need to
   see exactly where to put them):

bandanaleaf			RAGWEED		bandana		16		respect 3   sexy 3		30
bandanaskull			SKUBAND		bandana		16		respect 3   sexy 3  		30
bandanab2			RAGBK2		bandana		16		respect 3   sexy 3  		30
capknitblk			BLKCP1		capknit		16		respect 3   sexy 3  		20
cowboyblk			BLKCOW		cowboy		16		respect 3   sexy 3  		30

Note: You change the prices to whatever you want them to be by editing the last column. You can
also change the stat values, but 3 is the max for hats, so you can only lower them.

4. Scroll further down the file past "Section Haircut", "Section Tattoos", "Section Food", and
   "Section Weapons" until you reach "Section Shops". This is where you have to make some choices.
   You have to insert the following lines:

item bandanaleaf
item bandanaskull
item bandanab2
item capknitblk
item cowboyblk

   Now, each shop is divided into sections (which you should be able to tell from the comments to the
   right). Each section (or menu in the game), can only have up to 12 items. This means that you
   cannot just add hats onto Bincos or SubUrban because they already have 12. But, you can insert
   these lines in any order or placement you want into the following:

ProLaps has room for 2
Zip has room for 5 (you could put them all here...)
Victim has room for 5 (...or here)
Didier Sachs has room for 3

Note: You can actually shift things around between store to store, which is useful if you want to
buy things sold at shops later in the game at the beginning of the game. (Personally I swapped
the cowboy hats in Bincos with the boaters hats from DS.)

5. Once you've chosen your locations and inserted the item lines from above, you can save and
   close "shopping.dat"
6. Now you need the GXT Editor. This one is a little bit more difficult to find at this point than
   the IMG Editor. I got mine at: www.thegtaplace.com (Look under Downloads/SA/Tools)
7. With the GXT Editor open "american.gxt" (in Text folder)
8. The editor should default to the "MAIN" table, and this is the one you want. In the menu above
   that says "Entry" click "Add". Use this to add one of the following entries and then repeat for
   the other four:

RAGWEED
SKUBAND
RAGBK2
BLKCP1
BLKCOW

9. Once you have all the entries added you can enter the text names buy clicking on an entry and
   entering the name into the large screen to the right (the entries are listed in the table in the
   lower left). You can obviously name them whatever you want, but I used the following:

RAGWEED = Weed Rag
SKUBAND = Skull Rag
RAGBK2 = Black Rag
BLKCP1 = Black Watch Cap
BLKCOW = Black Cowboy Hat

10. Now you can save and exit.
11. Start up the game and go check out your new cover!!!

Feel free to email me with any questions or problems, although I am far from an expert in this
shit, I should be able to at least help you make these hats work.

Enjoy!
